Here's something I tell every massage client: energy is always present in our sessions. When my hands are moving through your muscles, something more than technique is happening. That's not mystical — it's something you can feel.
Reiki takes that deeper.
In a dedicated Reiki session, my hands move slowly and intentionally through specific positions — resting, listening, working with the energy field of your body rather than the tissue itself. It's quieter than massage. More still. And for many people, more profound.
I've been a Master Reiki Practitioner for years — but more than the title, what I bring to this work is presence. A genuine ability to hold space, to tune in, and to facilitate what your body and energy system are ready to release.
You don't have to explain it.
You just have to be open to it.
Clients come to Reiki at EA Healing Touch for many reasons. You don't need to believe in energy healing for Reiki to work. You just need to be willing to be still for a while.
Tension that won't shift no matter what you try. A nervous system that feels permanently switched on. Reiki works at a level that talk and physical touch alone can't always reach.
Feeling stuck, weighed down, or like something is being held in the body that you can't quite name or release. Reiki creates space for what's ready to move to finally do so.
Sometimes physical pain has an emotional or energetic component beneath it. When massage alone isn't reaching everything, Reiki can work on what lies underneath.
Difficulty sleeping, waking unrested, running on empty. Reiki helps regulate the nervous system and restore a sense of calm that allows genuine rest to return.
A desire to process and release rather than just manage. Many clients use Reiki as a space to let go of what they've been carrying — sometimes for years.
A feeling that there's more available to them. Some clients come with no specific issue — just a sense that something in this work is calling to them. That's enough.
Two paths to the
same destination.
When you receive a massage from me, you're already receiving some Reiki — because the energy flows through everything I do. The difference is intentionality and depth.
In a massage session, my hands are constantly moving — working tissue, releasing muscle, restoring function. In a Reiki session, that same energy is directed more fully, held longer, and allowed to work at a different level entirely.
Many clients move between both — coming for massage when the body needs physical work, and Reiki when something deeper is calling for attention. Some sessions naturally become both. We follow what's needed.
Your first Reiki session.
We begin with a brief conversation — what's been going on, what you're hoping to experience, any questions you have. There's no right or wrong answer. We start wherever you are.
You'll rest fully clothed on the table while I work through a gentle sequence of hand positions, moving through your energy centers from head to toe. Sessions are quiet, unhurried, and deeply relaxing.
Many clients drift into a state between waking and sleep. Some experience warmth, tingling, or emotional release. Some simply feel lighter when they leave. Every experience is valid. Nothing is forced.

Reiki sessions are offered in two lengths.
